Our backGroud Story
We started our journey in 1945. And looking back it has been an awesome ride with lots of ups and downs. But whatever be the situation, MJAFI has always moved on and risen year by year.
Founded as the Journal of Indian Army Medical Corps at Poona. The first volume was released in 1945 and a copy of the same is preserved in the MJAFI Gallery at the AFMC Ashoka Chakra Library.
The journal has been reqularly publishing medical articles changing its location from erstwhile Poona to Lucknow, Delhi and Mumbai as well. Presently, the Medical Journal Armed Forces India is published by Elsevier for the Armed Forces Medical Services India and is based in the Armed Forces Medical College campus.
